ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Finance Minister Asad Umar on Wednesday in Islamabad chairs a meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) for approval of grants for certain departments.
The meeting is likely to review the demand and production of urea fertilizer in the country. The meeting is also anticipated to analyse the performance of Utility Stores Corporation.
The meeting will also be given briefing on cases lodged by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against employees of steel mills.
The meeting is likely to approve grants of Rs610 million for the office of Controller General Accounts, Rs70 million for the Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority (PNRA) and Rs250 million for Auditor General, Pakistan.
Moreover, a grant of Rs140 million is likely to be approved for the Pakistan Mortgage Refinance Company and a supplementary grant for Civil Armed Forces.
