Imran Ismail urges Sindh govt to observe rationality over Karachi package

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Governor Imran Ismail has urged the provincial government of the province to avoid narrow-minded approach regarding Karachi’s development package, which includes 18 projects worth Rs162 billion and was announced by Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan, by stating that the package was proposed for development and prosperity of the metropolis.
“Those, who have called the package “magic of words”, have given nothing to the province,” he said, adding that the Green Line project will be completed within eight months.
“Chief Minister’s disapproval over the matter is irrational,” he added.
He said that seven of the projects would be completed by the month of September this year, and K-IV was not part of the package.
