Priyanka Gandhi says 'Modi went to Pakistan in 2015 to have Biryani'

Former PM Nawaz Sharif accommodated Modi at Raiwand palatial residence and served him with biryani.

AYODHYA (Web Desk) – Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra took a dig at Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that he went to Pakistan to had biryani in December 2015.

As the Indian general elections are around the corner, the two big parties, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Indian National Congress are doing everything in their power to imbalance each other.

“Pakistan” is a term for Indian political parties to manipulate their public in any way as they desire as Congress GS Priyanka Gandhi Vadra criticized PM Narendra Modi to feast on biryani in Pakistan.

"He had gone to Pakistan to eat biryani," she said.

Modi was flying back from his visit to Russia and Afghanistan in 2015 when he made a surprise stop at Lahore on his flight to Delhi where the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif accommodated him at his Raiwand palatial residence and served him with Pakistani biryani.

Sharif invited Modi to attend the marriage of his granddaughter Mehrun Nisa which was hosted at the Sharif‘s Raiwind palatial residence.

She further said that Indian PM does not meet, greet and hug poor in India as he does in different countries.

Accusing the BJP of diverting attention from the real issues, she said they talk of "Mai Bhi Chowkidaar", but now the farmers are compelled to save their produce by acting as watchmen.

"They are insulting you. They want to divert your attention. The BJP wants to ensure that whatever lie they say should be shown as a full package and people get diverted," she said.

Addressing to a rally in Meerut, PM Modi said that Pakistan will be happy if Congress wins the 2019 elections to which Priyanka Gandhi responded that it is just his personal views.
