Briefing on NAP in FO cancelled after PML-N, PPP boycott.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A briefing on the National Action Plan (NAP) in the Foreign Office (FO) has been cancelled after Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (JUI-F) boycotted the session.
The FO spokesperson told that the meeting was scheduled for Thursday (tomorrow), and letters were dispatched to the parliamentary parties.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi had to inform Prime Minister Imran Khan regarding the consent on the NAP after the session.
Let it be known that both PML-N and PPP had demanded the federal government to give a briefing on the NAP.
