Rawalpindi: Shahid Khaqan Abbasi appears before NAB.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi Tuesday appeared before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in a case pertaining to liquefied natural gas (LNG) import scam.
The PMLN leader said he has provided all the details that were asked by the accountability bureau and announced to appear before the NAB daily if summoned.
“I will hold a press conference soon to discuss the new gas reserves that Prime Minister Imran Khan is claiming,” Abbasi said.
The NAB had earlier directed the former premier to submit complete record along with details of his assets. He was also given a questionnaire comprising 75 questions.
The National Accountability Bureau had summoned Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in the second week of March. The erstwhile premier had requested the NAB to extend the date till the last week of the month as he was not in Pakistan.
