On February 15, the LHC ordered to release Shahbaz Sharif on bail but his name has been put on ECL.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and opposition leader in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif will file a petition in the Lahore high Court (LHC) today (Monday), Dunya News reported.

Earlier, the interior ministry issued a notification regarding a foreign travel ban on the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) president. The cabinet took the decision on a request by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), from whose custody Shahbaz was released on bail.

The NAB had arrested Shahbaz on October 5, 2018, in connection with the Ashiana-e-Iqbal Housing Scheme case. The PML-N president was released from sub-jail on February 15, a day after the Lahore High Court granted him bail in Ashiana-e-Iqbal and Ramzan Sugar Mills cases.
