Gold imports dip 24.34 percent during July-January

Total imports of the precious metal have been worth $12.843 million during July-January (2018-19).

(Web Desk) - Pakistan’s gold imports dipped by 24.34 percent during during July-January 2018-19 of the current fiscal year as compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

According to the latest data obtained from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, total imports of the precious metal have been worth $12.843 million during July-January (2018-19).

In terms of quantity, Pakistan imported 249 kilograms of gold during the current fiscal year as compared to the imports of 317 kilogram, showing negative growth of 21.45 percent.
