PSP leader falls prey to target killing in Karachi

PSP leader Abdu Habib khilji was shot dead in Sakhi Hasan Chowrangi area of Karachi on Monday.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Target killing incident are on the rise in Karachi as some unidentified persons opened fire and shot dead Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) leader Abdu Habib khilji in Sakhi Hasan Chowrangi area of the city on Monday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, some unidentified persons riding on motorcycle sprayed bullets on Abdu Habib khilji vehicle in Sakhi Hasan Chowrangi area and critically wounded him. He was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.
PSP leader Asif Hasnain along with other party workers reached Abbasi Shaheed Hospital after the incident and demanded arrest of attackers. Asif Hasnain informed media that Abdu Habib khilji contested the 2018 elections on a PSP ticket from Sindh Assembly constituency PS-122.
Sources informed that police have found seven bullet shells of 9mm pistol and two bullet shells of 30-bore pistol from the scene. Police have also launched an investigation.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah has taken immediate notice of the incident shout a report from additional inspector general (AIG) Karachi. He also directed the officials to arrest the attackers.
