(Web Desk) – Pakistan is filled with talented individuals waiting for an opportunity to knock at their door to shine. Every passing day we hear about unique individuals making prowess and embarking on a journey of a lifetime.

Raadeyah Aamir is one such youngster who with sparkling dreams in her eyes is aiming for the stars. Raadeyah through sheer determination has landed an internship with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) only at the age of 12.

Raadeyah an outstanding 8th grader of British Overseas School, Karachi will land at the Kennedy Space Center for a one week internship program for the next-generation Astronaut Training Experience.

US Embassy of Pakistan shared this fantastic news making every Pakistani proud of the young girl.

“A 12-years-old Pakistani student Raadeyah Aamir has been selected for the NASA’s one-week internship program. She will be attending the one-week program which includes training for next-generation Astronaut Training Experience.”

Raadeyah will be training with a group of 26 highly motivated individuals. The session includes astronaut-training simulations and micro gravity spacewalk. The aim of the internship is to allow aspiring future astronauts to get hands on experience of what it would be like to live and work in space as a real astronaut in a contained environment.

Raadeyah is quite passionate about space explorations and while planning for her future this opportunity has paved the way in favor of her interests. She keenly reads books on space, watches movies and is mesmerized by the out of world experience this program has offered her.
