Hollywood actor Ashton Kutcher calls Pakistani polio worker 'hero'

(Dunya News) – Hollywood actor Ashton Kutcher has lauded 23-year-old Pakistani polio worker Irfanullah for performing his duties in Swat’s harsh weather with determination.
Kutcher took to social networking website Facebook and shared Irfanullah’s viral video with a caption, “This guy is a hero.”
The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) Pakistan had also praised the commitment of polio workers by adding a picture on their twitter account with caption: "Pakistan’s polio workers travel long distances to make sure that every child is protected from polio, no matter where they live in Pakistan."

Earlier, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan had appreciated the services of Irfanullah, saying that he is one of 260,000 heroes who reach out to children with polio vaccines in extreme weather conditions.

The premier said Irfanullah’s viral video has left every individual with a sense of awe and pride. He said this dedication is what will enable us to achieve our goal of a polio free nation.
