PESHWAR (Dunya News) – Two fake excise officers on Monday landed in police net for duping a mobile trader.
According to details, the suspects looted hundreds of mobile phones from the trader on gunpoint while introducing themselves as excise officers.
According to SP rural Tarqi Habib, at least 622 expensive mobiles, vehicle carrying fake green number plate and weapon used in the incident were recovered from the suspects.
Police say that the men were trying to smuggle the mobile phones worth Rs6 million to Afghanistan.
The suspects also revealed the identities of their other accomplices who will be arrested soon.
