Ranbir wants to play Shah Rukh's constable

Ranbir Kapoor promised that he will play the role of Shah Rukh Khan’s constable
(Web Desk) – Ranbir Kapoor during a benefit for police in Mumbai wished to play the role of a constable to Shah Rukh Khan. The duo was seen in a light mood on stage at the Umang Festival 2019.
According to media reports, Ranbir Kapoor narrated a story about how after delivering a flop at the box office, a police officer stopped him and upon recognizing, took selfies with the star and started giving him career advice.The police officer was of the view that Ranbir s choice of movies was poor and he needed to play the role of a police officer, “A few years back a movie of mine proved to be a big Dabba on the box office, a police officer stopped me, upon recognition took a selfie and then lectured me for half an hour on how I was choosing the wrong movies and should play the role of a uniformed police officer. It was a reality check for me that what am I doing with my life,” he said.
“But I have never been offered such a role till date,” he added.
Shah Rukh Khan upon hearing this asked Ranbir,” How long have you been working?” to which Ranbir replied that he had been working for 10 years.
The Badshah of Bollywood then shared that, “I have been working for 26 years and still haven’t got the chance to play a policeman. So, I will play a policeman first, and then it will be your turn,”

Shah Rukh Khan had previously worked with Ranbir Kapoor in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
