Int’l Kabaddi Taakra: Pakistan to face India, Iran today

Pakistan Kabaddi Federation PKF is hosting the event.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Green and India will be in action in final of the International Kabaddi Taakra scheduled to be held at Punjab Stadium today (Sunday). The match will be played at 3.00pm.
On the other hand, Pakistan White will clash with Iran in a match for 3rd/4th place at 2.00pm at the same venue.
Pakistan Kabaddi Federation (PKF) is hosting matches between Pakistan, India and Iran kabaddi teams, which were scheduled from January 8 to 14 in Sargodha, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal and Lahore.
Iranian and Indian national kabaddi teams are also participating in the Triangular International Kabaddi Matches Series 2019. It will develop bilateral relation of Pakistan, Iran and India.
Earlier on Saturday, Indian and Iranian kabaddi teams visited Punjab Stadium for practice, however due to the wet conditions they could not do so.
Indian kabaddi team players have expressed satisfaction on hospitality from Punjab government and Sports Board Punjab (SBP) and the security arrangements.
Team captain Harjeet Singh said, “Our matches with Pakistani and Iranian teams were quite thrilling and our young team learnt a lot during this important tournament”.
On the other hand, Indian kabaddi manager Guldeep Singh also thanked Punjab government and Pakistan Kabaddi Federation (PKF) saying, “Pakistan people are great kabaddi lovers. They supported players from all team participating teams”.
