NAB approves probe against Shahid Khaqan Abbasi

Probe into illegal recruitment in PIA has also been launched.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Wednesday approved investigation against former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz’s (PML-N) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi over the matter of appointing Managing Directors of Pakistan State Oil (MDPSO).
According to sources, Presiding over NAB executive board s meeting, NAB chairman Justice Javed Iqbal (retd) also approved probe into other 20 cases including inquires against former Sindh ministers Sohail Anwar Sial, Jam Khan Shoro, Zahid Burgery and former attorney general (AG) Malik Qayyum.
Dunya News further reported that probe into illegal recruitment in Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has also been launched while the board also decided to refer the appointment of principal of girls’ cadet college Mardan to KPK chief secretary.
However, source privy to developments further added that complaints against Mansha group will be scrutinized. "As NAB believes in corruption free Pakistan so NAB is working on the policy of Accountability for all," said NAB chairman," NAB considers eradication of the malpractice its national responsibility."
