Nawaz Sharif convicted fourth time in blind revenge: Maryam Nawaz

Verdicts will be over but truth of Nawaz, revenge of opposition will be remembered, Maryam said.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Following the verdict announcement in Flagship and Al-Azizia references against Nawaz Sharif on Monday, his daughter Maryam Nawaz has tweeted that Nawaz Sharif has been convicted fourth time in blind revenge.

Maryam Nawaz immediately took to the twitter after the judgment was out and asserted that it was based on assumptions. “Convicting the same person for the fourth time is the last hiccup of blind revenge,” she said.

In another tweet, she said that the verdicts will be over but the truth of Nawaz Sharif and revenge of opposition will be remembered. She added that government, power and authority will end as time changes.

It is pertinent here to mention that former prime minister Nawaz has been sentenced to seven years in prison in Al-Azizia Steel Mills reference, whereas, he has been acquitted in Flagshipship reference filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

Earlier, on Sunday, Maryam Nawaz broke her silence in her first tweet after five months.

In her tweet, she had prayed for her father Nawaz Sharif hours before the Accountability Court delivered its judgment in Flagship Investment and Al-Azizia references filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against the former prime minister in line with Supreme Court ruling in Panama Papers case.
