I officially announce my retirement from international hockey

(Web Desk) – Pakistan goalkeeper Imran Butt has announced his retirement from international hockey on Friday.

While speaking to media Hockey goalkeeper said that I have not been pressurized and even not instructed by Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) to tender the resignation. It was my personal decision.

Yesterday, Imran Butt took the micro blogging website Twitter to post his decision " I officially announce my retirement from international hockey. I would like to thank all the people who encouraged me in this amazing journey of my hockey career."

The 30-year old Butt, who is the brother of former hockey captain Rehan Butt, represented Pakistan in 156 matches.
