Police arrest madrassa teacher over torture of minor student in Hyderabad

Police took action and arrested the teacher who turned out to be one of their own personnel.
HYDERABAD (Dunya News) – Police on Friday arrested a madrassa teacher over torture of student in Hyderabad.
The video of Qari Shabbir beating 10-year-old Muhammad Tayyab with a plastic pipe went viral on social media. Other people present in the mosque refrained him from the act however; Shabbir continued to beat Tayyab mercilessly.
After the video made rounds on social media, police took action and arrested the teacher who turned out to be one of their own personnel.
When the incident came in the knowledge of higher authorities, they suspended Shabbir and a case was registered against him.
