QUETTA (Web Desk) - Zalmi Madrasa League’s 2nd edition reaches Balochistan. The matches will take place from 4th-6th December in Bolan Cricket Stadium Quetta.

Pakistan’s number 1 franchise in terms of brand value, Peshawar Zalmi, in collaboration with the Zalmi Foundation initiated the ZML in KPK back in August. The league gained popularity throughout the world and was captured by International Media as well. This was the first time when the students of Madrasas were given a proper opportunity to showcase their talent on a main stage.

The second edition of this league will take place in Balochistan from the 4th-6th December. Chairman, Mr Javed Afridi had a message for all and said that the love and support from everyone around has enabled them to take this league to Balochistan and will soon take it to all parts of Pakistan and he hopes that it will be a huge success in Balochistan as well.

He further added that the Madrasa students will get a chance to come into the mainstream arena and that is our main aim. He will take this league further to Punjab, Sindh, and Gilgit very soon. The matches will be played in the Bolan Cricket Stadium.

We are taking the mission of the Prime Minister forward as well as he has also urged institutions to help create opportunities for the Madrasa Students so that this may portray a positive image of Pakistan on a global level. We are really happy to see all the support we have garnered throughout this time and our spirit is really high for this second edition.

Javed Afridi appreciated the efforts and support from the Government of Balochistan in facilitating this league, especially Commander Southern General Asim Saleem Bajwa. He wholeheartedly thanked them for all their efforts. 10 teams will be in action for this edition of the Zalmi Madrasa League. Wishing all the teams the best of luck.
