PTI government trying to introduce uniform curriculum across the county
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday said that he heard comments that PTI government did nothing in first 100 days.
Addressing a ceremony regarding completion of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) first 100 days in government at the Convention Centre today, he said that the government tried to benefit common people from their policies during 100 days.
Thanking the first lady for putting up with his tough schedule, Khan said that Bushra Begum helped him in difficult times, adding that I have taken just one day off in 100 days.
The prime minister said that the policies adopted by the government were inspired by the state of Madina.
He went on to say that a human can only strive, success is given by Allah Almighty.
PM Imran said that the government has decided all poor households will be given health cards, adding that the government is bringing health reforms and health cards.
Corruption has ruined the country’s institutions, Khan said.
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is an independent institution, adding that we are not responsible for what anti-graft watchdog does. Everyone including NAB should tolerate criticism, Khan added.
PTI government was trying to introduce uniform curriculum across the county, Khan said and added we have made plan on how to bring children back to school.
The premier said that the PTI government strengthened the FIA to curb money laundering.
He said that agreements with 26 countries to share information and recover assets have also been signed.
PM Khan further said that a task force has also been formed to improve the situation of government hospitals.
He said the land worth Rs350 billion has been recovered as part of the anti-encroachment drive launched by the PTI government.
“The government has also allotted land to build shelters for poor people in Rawalpindi and Lahore,” Khan added.
