(Web Desk) – The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has sealed eight food businesses including a restaurant and a bakery for failing to meet hygiene standards.
Director General of the Authority Muhammad Usman said a team had sealed a fish point for selling expired products and non-compliance of instructions.
An enforcement team of the Authority sealed a bakery after recovering expired food items such as corn oil, juices, cola and energy drinks.
Moreover, the regulatory body also shut down two pan shops for selling ‘gutka’ that is injurious to health.
