PM addresses International Rehmatal-Lil-Aalameen Conference

Prominent scholars from all religions and factions from across world are participating in the event.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Tuesday has said that welfare states don t emerge by virtue of resources but feeling for others.

Addressing the two-day international Rehmatal-Lil-Aalameen (PBUH) Conference in Islamabad, Imran Khan said Allah has created man with a purpose. I wish scholars impart Islamic knowledge for the betterment of the society, he expressed.

The premier said that the teachings of Holy Prophet (PBUH) serve as the straight path. Earlier I was not well versed with religious knowledge, he told.

Imran Khan went on to say, “Our government raised blasphemous caricatures issue at United Nation after which, Holland removed them.

It is to be mentioned here that a large number of scholars from Iraq including Dr Ammar Naqshwani and scholars from India, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and other countries are participating in the conference.

Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Dr Noorul Haq Qadri said that President Dr Arif Alvi will preside the closing session on the second day of the event.
