Local dancer shot dead in Peshawar for refusing marriage

Police handed over the body to the family after autopsy.

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – A man shot a local dancer dead for refusing his proposal for marriage in Peshawar on Saturday.

Details suggest that the suspect identified as Musaddiq entered the victim Sonia’s residence, opened fire on her and fled from the scene.

The gun shots severely wounded the dancer following which she was shifted to hospital. However; she succumbed to her injuries later.

The body of the deceased was handed over to the family after autopsy.

Police has initiated raids to arrest the suspect after registering a case in the presence of the woman’s brother.
