LAHORE (Dunya News) – Employees of private airlines Shaheen Air International on Saturday have staged protest outside Supreme Court (SC) Lahore registry.
The protesters stated that the company has not given salaries to more than 4000 employees from last five months. They requested Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar to take action into the matter.
Only the top judge can help us, they added.
On the other hand, the CJP is scheduled to visit United Christian Hospital (UCH) in Lahore to review the medical facilities there. Christian community should not feel deprived, Justice Nisar said.
Earlier, Supreme Court had termed authority to seek Chief Minister’s prerogative of permission for launching cases against corruption in Punjab as unconstitutional.
