KARACHI (Dunya News) - The value of US dollar on Wednesday was recorded Rs 132.50 after a fall of 17 paisa in interbank market.

On November 6, gold price recorded fresh increase of Rs 750 to Rs 60500 per tola. The gold price per 10 grams was up by Rs 631 to Rs 51853. Meanwhile, price in the global market increased by $4 to $1285 per ounce.

The surge was recorded because of depreciation of Pakistani rupee and increase in the price of yellow metal in the international market.

However, Pakistan capital today recorded fresh gains and registered an increase of more than 611 points in intra-day trading.

The gain was witnessed after the statement of the Minister for Finance Asad Umar saying, the country was no more facing balance of payment crisis and hoped that the country would soon get rid of this issue forever.
