MDA demolishes illegal premises as anti-encroachment operation continues

Widened encroachments in densely populated areas are creating problems for pedestrians and motorists
MULTAN (Dumyat News) – As the anti-encroachment operation is continued, Multan Development Authority (MDA) on Tuesday has flattened dozens of buildings erected illegally in Gol Bagh and Gulgasht Colony areas.
On the other hand, Quetta Mayor Dr.Kaleem Ullah Khan Kakar said that extensive encroachments are creating problems for pedestrians and motorists, while, extortionists are hampering anti-encroachment operations in the city.
The widespread and unchecked encroachments in densely populated areas like Kandhari Bazar, Liyaqat Bazar and Masjid Road are a bane of motorist in congested roads. The citizens said that district administration needs to take proper measures against encroachments for a permanent solution of the issue and to preserve beauty of the Little Paris.
Quetta Mayor KaleemUllah said that extortionists are hampering anti-encroachment operations, however, a sound planning is required to remove encroachments.
