Amjad Javed Saleem takes charge as Punjab IG

Saleemi was appointed as new Punjab Inspector General on October 9.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Amjad Javed Saleemi, on Monday has taken charge as Punjab Inspector General.

During the ceremony, the new Punjab IG was also presented the guard of honour.

Saleemi was appointed as new Punjab Inspector General on October 9, after a notification issued by Establishment Division.

Amjad Javed Saleem joined police department as Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) on November 1, 1986. He served as DPO Gujranwala and Mianwali and also performed his duties in Bosnia under Unites Nations’ peace mission.

He was also posted as DPO Sahiwal and Sialkot and also served as DIG investigation and CCPO Quetta.
