FixIt founder contests Karachi by-poll on PTI ticket in NA-243

The seat was won by Prime Minister Imran Khan in general elections held on July 25.

KARACHI (Dunyat News) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Alamgir Khan is contesting by-election against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan’s Amir Chishti for National Assembly seat NA-243 in Karachi.

The seat was won by Prime Minister Imran Khan in general elections held on July 25 by registering a thumping victory against his rivals, but it fell vacant after Khan chose to retain NA-95 Mianwali.

For the vacant post Alamgir Khan had submitted nomination papers as PTI s candidate while MQM Pakistan (MQM-P) had nominated Amir Waliuddin Chishti as candidate for NA-243 in by-election underway today (Sunday).
