PFA seals 11 production units during operation in Sargodha

PFA officials sealed production units alongside disposing of truckloads of adulteration materials.
SARGODHA (Dunya News) – A team of Punjab Food Authority (PFA) on Friday has conducted an operation in Sargodha and sealed 11 production units of food items. The PFA team also found use of chemical in sweetmeat at a confectionary.
The PFA team headed by DG Captain (r) Muhammad Usman conducted the 16-hour long operation. During the operation, the PFA officials sealed production units alongside disposing of truckloads of adulteration materials in addition to wasting 500 Liters of adulterated milk on the spot.
Meanwhile, the team also got arrested a man over import of prohibited injections to enhance milk production. The PFA team has also sealed and fined a number of points dealing in edibles on different violations including unhygienic conditions, fake labeling among various others.
