ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Special Assistant to Prime Minister Naeem-ul-Haque on Thursday held former finance minister Ishaq Dar responsible for current economic crisis in the country.

Talking to media outside Parliament House in Islamabad, Haque said the ex-prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi deliberately assisted Dar’s escape to London.

He said the previous governments of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) made political appointments in different institutions and ran the country on loans.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader said that efforts are being made to utilize available resources judiciously.

He further expressed confidence that the country would turn prosperous as a result of policies being pursued by PTI government.
