Earthquake rattles parts of Punjab

Tremors were felt in Kasur and Sheikhura as well. No loss of life or property has been reported yet.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – A moderate earthquake jolted several cities across Punjab, especially Lahore today (Sunday).
Tremors were felt in Kasur and Sheikhura as well. However, no loss of life or property has been reported so far.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, the epicenter of the earthquake was twenty four kilometers east of Lahore near Pak-India border at twenty kilometers depth.
The earthquake spread panic among the local people and they rushed out of their homes, shops and other buildings reciting verses of the Holy Quran.
