Hafeez expresses reservation over his exclusion from Asia Cup squad

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Senior batsman Mohammad Hafeez on Wednesday has expressed reservation over his exclusion from squad announced for Asia Cup which is set to begin on the 15th of this month in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

According to details, the former skipper penned a letter to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Ehsan Mani and informed him about his concerns.

Earlier, Chief Selector of the PCB, Inzamam-ul-Haq had announced a sixteen-member national squad for the Asia Cup at a press conference in Lahore.

Sarfraz Ahmad will lead the team, while Fakhar Zaman, Imam-ul-Haq, Shan Masood, Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik, Asif Ali, Haris Sohail, Faheem Ashraf, Muhammad Amir, Junaid Khan, Shaheen Afridi, Shadab Khan, Muhammad Nawaz, Hassan Ali and Usman Shanwari are included in the squad.
