JUI-F leader Maulana Fazlur Rahman said that he has asked the government to reconcile with Taliban. A delegation of JUI-F led by its leader Maulana Fazlur Rahman called on Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani in Islamabad. Talking to media after the meeting, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the PM has assured the delegation to act upon the proposals of Parliamentary Committee constituted to resolve national security issues. PM Gilani asked the Interior Ministry and Foreign Ministry to make recommendations in this regard. Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the PM took JUI-F into confidence regarding Balochistan package. On this occasion, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the delegation has asked the government to continue reconciliation policy in tribal areas and JUI-F was waiting for governments and Armys positive response in this regard.
