Nakba Day celebrated in Gaza

Palestinians in Khan Younis, Gaza celebrated Nakba Day which marks the formation of Israel.

Hundreds of women and children celebrated Nakba Day, which means destruction day, by lighting candles. The people were holding keys made out of cardboard and waved the Palestinian flag.Immediately after their creation in 1948, Israel declared war against Palestine. Almost 700,000 people migrated to the different countries. More than 4.7 million Palestinians are living as immigrants in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, West Bank and Gaza.
