Karachi: 75 arrested during Rangers crackdown

Rangers arrested at least 75 suspected persons during a crackdown against the target killers.

Rangers arrested at least 150 suspected persons and recovered a large number of weapons from their possession. After investigation 75 people were released.A large number of weapons was also recovered from ththe possession of the accused.The suspected people were arrested from different areas of Karachi including Mahmoodabad, Shirin Jinnah Colony, MT Khan Road, and Liyari.Meanwhile, Rangers also raided offices of two political parties and an activist of a political party Younis Boneri was arrested.Additional IG Akhtar Gorchani has issued orders for all SHOs to assure their presence in their respective areas at 5am and directed to tight scrutiny of sensitive areas and suspected people.
