Citizens cant be left at govt mercy: LHC

The Lahore High Court has rejected police report regarding Rawalpindi court firing incident.

LHC Chief Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed resumed the hearing of the case regarding firing incident in the Rawalpindi District Courts.Punjab Police IG presented the report regarding the incident and said that the investigation of the case has been completed.The court showed dissatisfaction over the report and remarked that the citizens cannot be left at the mercy of the government.The Home Secretary assured the court that a comprehensive security plan has been prepared to avoid such incidents in the future.The court ordered to present the security plan till January 20.
