Imran greets Asghar as Tehrik-e-Istaqlal, PTI merge

PTI today welcomed another politician, Asghar Khan of Tehrik-e-Istaqlal, in its ranks.

Addressing a joint news conference with Air Martial (retd) Asghar Khan, the PTI chief thanked Asghar Khan for reposing confidence in him. Imran vowed that his party would try its best to have next elections free and fair.Asghar Khan, speaking on the occasion, endorsed Imran’s view that not a single free and fair elections has been held in the country since its inception. He also announced that he is stepping down as chief of Tehrik-e-Istaqlal as his party is merging with the PTI.Imran Khan once again denied receiving any support from the ISI, saying if the allegations were proved, he would quit politics for good.
