Stage actor, comedian Mastana passes away

The famed actor, Mastana, died of Hepatitis in the Victoria Hospital in Bahawalpur, on Monday.

Mastana was suffering from Hepatitis C. He was shifted to the Victoria Hospital on March 22. His children tried raising funds for their father’s treatment but were unsuccessful. Despite appeals by family, neither his co-workers nor the government provided financial support for his treatment.Mastana, who had been in the industry for the last 35 years, made people laugh by his performance, but had now left them in grief. His funeral prayers will be held at the central funeral place in Bahawalpur.Mastana was widely regarded as the king of stage and theatre acting and his legacy will carry on for years.
