National Identity Card mandatory to enter Islamabad
Citizens will only be allowed to enter Islamabad after they show identity in form of NIC.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) -- The government has announced to tighten the security of the federal capital as checking identity of those entering Islamabad was lately declared mandatory.
Moreover, police has also announced it will check car registration and license of the vehicle’s owners in pretext of the heavy security in the federal capital; whereas, the entry of ‘applied for’ cars is restricted in the city.
On the other hand, those failing to prove their identity as a citizen to this country while entering Islamabad will be taken under arrest on the spot
