NICL-scam: SC wants plundered money back

Hearing National Insurance Company Limited-scam case, the chief justice has remarked that the court wanted to bring back the looted money to the national exchequer.

Federal Investigation Agency Director Moazzam Jah told the court that the NICL-scam investigation team had discovered another embezzlement of Rs 30 million, in a land acquiring deal in Korangi Town Karachi.FIA Additional DG Zafar Qureshi recorded his statement that being the investigation officer of the NICL-scam, he feared he may be killed. He said that if he would be killed, Mohsin Warraich and Chaudhry family were responsible for his killing. The chief justice said that Qureshi should seek protection from the interior ministry.On his statement, the court took on record the names of Mohsin Warraich, Pevez Elahi, Habibullah Warraich, Shujaat Hussain, Moonis Elahi and Wajahat Hussain. The court ordered the FIA DG to submit a detail report of the investigation to the court.
