(Dunya News) – As a part of ICIJ’s latest investigation, offshore companies of Arab monarchs have also emerged in the Paradise Papers.

While the Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz has also been named in the Paradise Papers, his role in Luxembourg Company is not yet clear.

Muhammad Nayef bin Abdul Aziz, who is a prominent member of the House of Saud has been named for his association with Havelock Capital.

Former Deputy Minister of Defense Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdul Aziz has been revealed as a beneficiary of Acorn and Minstrel Trust.

President of the United Arab Emirates Khalifa bin Zayed, who is also the Emir of Abu Dhabi, has been named for being a beneficiary of 30 companies.

While former Emir of Qatar, Hamad Khalifa Al Thani’s 25 percent ownership of two British Virgin Islands based companies has been revealed, Prince Hamad bin Jassim has also been named in the Paradise Papers for being a beneficiary of offshore companies along with Iraq’s former Member of Parliament Mudhar Ghassan Shawkat – who was one of Former President Saddam Hussein’s political opponents.
