(Web Desk) – Son of legendary boxer, Muhammad Ali was reportedly detained at a Florida airport for two hours and interrogated over his religious identity, Times of India reported on Saturday.

A lawyer told the Courier-Journal in Kentucky’s Louisville Muhammad Ali Jr arrived at Fort Lauderdal-Hollywood International Airport on February 7 along with his mother Khalilah Camacho-Ali after returning from Jamaica.

Reportedly, he was questioned about his religion besides subjecting him to slurry undertone with queries such as ‘Where did you get your name from?’

The incident has come in under Trump administration who is adamant over banning seven Muslim countries including Iran and Libya from entering United States.

Khalilah Camacho-Ali is second wife of the late celebrated boxer about whom the White House had said in its statement after his death that ‘Muhammad Ali was the greatest’.
