Kashmiris protest outside PM May's residence in London

Protesters came from areas held candlelight vigil to pledge solidarity with the Kashmiris.

 LONDON (Dunya News) – Kashmiris on Monday protested against Indian forces’ atrocities in occupied Kashmir valley outside the Britain Prime Minister Theresa May’s house in London.

The escalating Indian brutality in held-Kashmir has forced the people to take to the street in order to record their demonstration.



Leader of Muslim Conference Mehar-un-Nisa and former British Parliamentarian George Galloway supervised the protest staged outside Theresa May’s official residence in Ten Downing Street.

The protesters came from different areas also held candlelight vigil to pledge solidarity with the Kashmiri people and martyred freedom fighter Burhan Wani.



Meanwhile, complete shutdown continues, to protest against the civilian killings and other brutalities by Indian forces in the occupied Kashmir Valley.

At least 9000 Kashmiris have been detained during the three-month crackdown.

Moreover, the authorities have dismissed more than one dozen employees from their services on participating in pro-freedom rallies.

The uprising that was triggered by the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani by Indian forces on July 8 has left more than 110 people dead and several thousand injured, so far.

More than 800 people have sustained pellet injuries with majority of them on the verge of losing eyesight partially or fully.
