Yasin was detained using the puppet government of India in held-Kashmir over two months ago

SRINAGAR (Dunya News) – Mishal Malik has warned the puppet government of Occupied Kashmir on Saturday about possible threat to her husband, Hurriyat leader, Yasin Maliks life if his ailments are not taken care of during unjust detention at Indian hands.

Mishal has written to Secretary General of United Nations Organisation, Ban Ki-moon calling attention to deliberate negligence towards treatment of her husband, Hurriyat leader, Yasin Malik citing Indian authority in held-Kashmir.

Yasin was detained by so-called security forces in the valley over two months ago amid curfew and violent clashes of protesters with the personnel.

According to his wife, he was kept in solitary confinement the last time she saw him and his leg infection had gotten severe. Yasin was a heart patient and needed timely medication for that as well, she had said in an exclusive interview with Dunya News earlier this month.

Know month: Yasin Maliks condition gets critical after heavy torture

Despite raising the issue at every level she could, Mishal said that her husband was not released and his condition was not getting any better, only worse could be expected.

In an attempt to get the freedom fighter belonging to All Parties Hurriyat Conference released, she now has written a letter to the Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.

Indian government influences arrests of almost all Hurriyat leaders including Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Syed Ali Gilani every time there are protests by the locals against unjust occupation and torture, fearing to lose the authority the state has been exercising in the valley for at least seven decades.

The latest of the unannounced curfews in Occupied Kashmir came over two months ago when Burhan Wani, a freedom fighter who had announced to launch series of protests, was brutally martyred by so-called security forces.

Use of pellet guns by the troops has cost hundreds of protesters their eyesight while over thousand have been injured so far.

Besides unannounced curfews, the puppet government also uses media blackout as one of the many suppressing instruments.
