Bank in the southeastern Wisconsin state of US was flooded which destroyed all the cash inside vault

(Web Desk) – A bank in southeastern Wisconsin remained flooded with 21 inches of water which destroyed all the cash in the bank’s vault.

HuffPost reported that all the furniture and files were floating inside the Fox River State Bank in Burlington. Although it is not confirmed the exact amount of money wasted in the flood, CEO Keith Polleck assured all customers that every single penny will be compensated by the Federal Reserve.

The bank remained closed for several days before it re-opened. While the crew cleaned up all the mess, there were no off-days for the employees as the bank continued functioning from their other office.

After the whole flood episode, Fox River State Bank posted on Facebook, “Our lobby is open and ready to help during our normal business hours. Stop and see us! Some of you may have seen on the news that the cash in our vault was ruined. Don t worry, it has been replaced with clean and safe cash. So any cash you get is ready and safe to be used. We look forward to seeing our customers and helping with your banking needs!”

Polleck plans to offer loans to local citizens who suffered from damage due to the flood. He promised that his bank help locals in an attempt of community service, including fixing homes and restoring business activities.
