Twitter users struggled to work out which of the youthful-looking ladies is the mother.
(Web Desk) - A selfie of a mum with her two daughters has sent the Internet into meltdown with social media users unable to tell who is who.
The image, posted by Kaylan Mahomes, of Indianapolis, is actually of Kaylan; her twin sister, Kyla; and their mom.
The photo has been retweeted more than 25,000 times and received more than 45,000 likes. Mahomes now has more than 15,000 Twitter followers, many of whom were stumped by her photo.
Twitter users struggled to work out which of the youthful-looking ladies is the mother, commenting on the striking similarity of all three.
One wrote: "I can’t even tell y’all look like triplets," while another commented: "Where’s the mum at in the picture?"
Another tweeted: "Wow! Good genes run in this family. I do not know which one is the mother. I think the one of the right facing them."
One frustrated person posted yesterday: "From #Paris We are still waiting for the answer? #BlackGirlMagic".
Some Twitter users added the hashtag #blackdontcrack – an expression referring to African-Americans whose smooth, wrinkle-free skin often makes them appear younger than their real age.
Amused by their new found fame the trio then created their own Instagram account called momtwinandme .
Later, their second post offered a vital clue as to who is who.
