Apple has rolled out its iOS 11 update before iPhone X and iPhone 8 release

(Web Desk) – Smartphone giant Apple has rolled out a new update in its operation system called iOS 11 which comes with a bunch of hidden features which only iPhone users can enjoy. These include changes in apps, notes, storage options, camera and more. Let s take a look at some of these hidden features associated with iOS 11:

Emergency SOS calling

Users have been provided with a handy trick for emergency SOS calling. The emergency SOS can be used by pressing the power button five times in a row. This will allow users to go directly to the local emergency services that are provided by their telecom company, according to Mashable.

Effects in iMessage

Interactive effects have been rolled into the iMessage app in Apple devices. It can either add spotlight to the conversations or tiny bubbles of text messages. This will not only make the app more interesting but also engage the users to an extent that they ll demand more of such effects.

Safari pages into PDF format conversion

Apple now allows iPhone users, with iOS 11, to convert their Safari web pages into PDF format. In this way, if they find any important document while browsing, they can easily convert it into PDF format to read later.

QR code scanning supported into camera
Users of iOS 11 will no longer need third-party apps to scan QR codes because the tech giant has updated the in-camera specs. Now the iPhones cameras will support QR scanning while clicking snaps.

Free up space

The phones will now communicate whether the users can free up their space to extend storage. It will recommend space-saving tricks like deleting messages, files on cloud and more. Apple devices will now tell users to delete large file attachments in offload unused apps feature. With this feature, people can actually make their storage maximum if they re running out of space.
