(Web Desk) - This year’s Wimbledon has seen some remarkable moments and performances. But nothing can quite beat one match that will be remembered as the most endearing and hilarious so far.

Spectators at live matches find it hard to resist the temptation of advising their favorite players on how to go about their game strategy. The same happened when four time grand slam winner Kim Cjisters was playing in an invitation doubles match, reports The Telegraph. Clijsters had just asked her teammate, the Australian Rennae Stubbs, whether she should serve wide or down the middle when the front-row fan shouted out his suggestion from his courtside seat.

Fan Chris Quinn, from Ireland was ushered by Cjisters into the match when he was heard giving advice to the player. “You said ‘body?’” Clijsters asked in response. “Why don’t you go there?”

The opponents, Conchita Martinez and Andrea Jaeger, joined in the fun and offered the man, to join their team. Once the Quinn joined the players, the match was on apart from one problem. Wimbledon’s strict code requires every player to wear all-white. The fan was in breach of rules, with his baggy green top and blue shorts.

The spectators laughed and cheered when Clijsters was seen taking a spare white skirt from her tennis bag, along with a white top zipper jacket, and attempted to make Quinn wear it. While Quinn was bravely managing to pull the skirt up, Clijsters, lost her composure and collapsed laughing onto the court.

Clijsters served thrice and later all the players at court took pictures with Quinn. Later, Clijsters and Stubbs went on to win the match 6-2, 7-5.

Quinn later thanked Clijsters, writing on Twitter: “Thank you for going easy on me with the serve. You have made me a bigger hero to my 3 daughters who worship you by the way.”

He added: “Will teach me to open my mouth again. They were awesome. And I got to play in Wimbledon. One off the bucket list.”
