Pakistan defeat India to reach Asian Netball Championship final
The final will take place on Sunday.
ISLAMABAD (APP) - Pakistan netball team Saturday defeated traditional rivals India in a thrilling contest to make it to the final of First Asian Men’s Netball Championship 2016, being played in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
According to information received here, Pakistan team beat India by 27 26 goals. Muhammad Akhtar, Ali Raza, Zahid Iqbal and Khursheed Ahmed remained instrumental in Pakistan’s success.
Muhammad Akhtar scored 17 goals, while Zahid Iqbal ended with 10 goals.
Later on, Pakistan also defeated Brunei by 42 25 goals.
The final will take place between Pakistan and Malaysia on Sunday.
