Hateful content on social media dividing humanity: PM Imran
Imran Khan said western leaders did not realize the seriousness of the issue.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday said that humanity is being divided by hateful content on social media and the international community must take steps to curb extremism.
In an interview with Canadian television channel on Sunday, he said that strict action must be taken against the attack on a Pakistani family in Canada.
The prime minister said that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is aware of the seriousness of the issue, but other world leaders have not given an satisfactory response.
Imran Khan went on to say that people in Canada were shocked by the killing of a Pakistani-born family but many Western leaders did not realize the seriousness of the issue.
“Pakistan has been thinking for the betterment of its future generations,” he said.
