Indian forces involved in blatant human rights violations in IOJ&K: FM Qureshi

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Thursday said that Indian forces are involved in blatant human rights violations in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Chairing a consultative meeting in Islamabad on Thursday, he said that there is need to apprise the world of serious situation in the Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJ&K).

The foreign minister said that there was also need to expose Indian violence in IOJ&K in front of the international institutions.

Qureshi said it s been 214-days and occupied Kashmir remains under severe Indian military siege, adding that New Delhi is committing blatant human rights violations in the occupied Valley.

Speaking on the occasion, Kashmir Committee Chairman Syed Fakhar Imam said that the parliaments of the various countries have adopted resolutions on the situation in occupied Kashmir.

Meanwhile, Mushahid Hussain Syed said that India s intolerance is dangerous to peace in the region.
